Ground/Underground Pipeline Inspection

AQUA MTM - Offshore Pipeline Inspection

AQUA MTM retains all the benefits of ground MTM and enables the remote inspection of underwater pipelines without stopping operations. It safely detects defects such as metal loss, cracks, changes in geometry, and stress concentrations up to a depth of 200m.

Our Projects

During the period 2019-2021, Gateway successfully completed MTM diagnostics of four underground oil pipelines of Dragon Oil company (UAE) in Turkmenistan with a total length of about 30 km.

Gateway has confirmed its competence in conducting MTM inspections in Kazakhstan.

Our company conducted in 2023 Pilot Industrial Test (PIT) of MTM diagnostics on JSC “Intergas Central Asia” gas pipeline in Kostanay. As part of the PIT, the MTM results were compared (verified) with the actual pipeline technical condition. Based on the MTM report, the Customer's representatives selected 4 pipeline sections for additional non-destructive testing (NDT). As a result, NDT showed full compliance of the MTM diagnostics data with the actual condition of the pipeline in each pit.
